4、roductivity,and urban prosperity is embodied by Londons thriving economy.London currently has 2,594 state primary and secondary schools.Of these,721 have received outstanding inspection ratings by Ofsted.This means they provide the highest quality of education available for children.Ofsteds inspecti

5、on framework considers,among other things,the quality of education,behaviour and attitudes of the school,and the effectiveness of leadership and management.ResultsWe ranked the top 10 by calculating the proportion of outstanding rated schools by the total number of schools in the area.In first place

9、y high.Using estimates of the projected population growth for each borough,we can better understand how the residential market of that area might grow.ResultsWe ranked the boroughs based on a five-year population estimate from 2021 to 2026 to calculate the percentage increase.Camden,with its excelle

10、nt central location,diversity,schools,and music scene came first,with a projected growth of 5.4%,or 14,500 people.In second and third place were Westminster at 4.8%,and Greenwich at 4.6%.Each offers their respective benefits in terms of stunning properties,accessibility,and education.Projected Popul

13、enures,including social rented homes and shared ownership.Overall,it is estimated that 17,000 more affordable homes are needed across London each year.Here,we look at which boroughs have contributed the most towards that target over the last year.ResultsTo determine the area with the most affordable

16、this encompasses a wide-range of prices.Here we highlight the boroughs which may offer the best options for those looking to get onto the housing ladder.ResultsWe ranked the boroughs according to the average first time buyer price from the ONS.In first place came Barking&Dagenham,with the lowest ave

19、ptive SpacesThe Hot 100 UKOptimal wellbeing is crucial for the happiness and productivity of Londoners.According to the ONS,average ratings of personal well-being in the UK have improved across all indicators in the year ending March 2022.The proportion of people reporting very high levels of life s

20、atisfaction,happiness,or very low levels of anxiety increased in the year ending March 2022.While the perceived life satisfaction of residents reflects many variables,it can be a useful barometer for gauging which boroughs have a more contented population.ResultsWe measured the wellbeing of each bor

21、ough using life satisfaction scores,with 0 being the lowest and 10 being the highest.While the scores are close,Newham came in first with the highest average life satisfaction score,followed closely by both Ealing and Harrow at equal second;Tower Hamlets came in fourth.Wandsworth,which came eighth,w

23、15CBRE RESEARCH 2022 CBRE,INC.Adaptive SpacesThe Hot 100 UKHighly energy efficient homes will be critical if the UK is to reach its 2050 net zero target.Sustainable housing reduces carbon emissions,energy bills,unnecessary energy consumption,and demand for non-renewable resources.Increasing the ener

24、gy efficiency of homes is imperative for reducing our reliance on fossil fuels.As a result,the energy efficiency of our homes will be subject to further regulation through Minimum Energy Efficiency Standards.This proposes that all privately rented homes will need to have an Energy Performance Certif

25、icate(EPC)rating of at least C by 2028.Owner-occupiers will have to follow-suit,but will have until 2035 to meet the requirements.Furthermore,the Future Homes Standards will ensure that new homes built from 2025 will produce 7580%less carbon emissions.ResultsTo determine the energy efficiency of bor

26、oughs,we ranked them by the proportion of their homes that were rated with an EPC of C or better.This also gives an indication of which boroughs are most future-proofed against upcoming regulation.EPC ratings range from A(most energy efficient)to G(least energy efficient).The results show that Tower

29、UKThe transition away from fossil fuel cars will be one of the crucial factors that drastically reduces Londons carbon emissions.Recently,London has seen a surge in electric vehicle(EV)use,thanks to the growing availability and affordability of plug-in hybrid vehicles and pure electric vehicles.Thes

30、e vehicles allow users to save money on fuel while reducing their carbon footprint.To further promote their use the Government has installed many charging points across the city,increasing the ability of residents to travel sustainably.ResultsWestminster came in first place for most EV charging poin

31、ts 621 more than Wandsworth in second place,with 873-demonstrating the significant investment in infrastructure in Westminster to facilitate sustainable travel.In third place came Southwark,with a total of 683 charging points.Across the UK,Greater London has the most EV charging points,followed by t

34、workers to London,which facilitates economic development and opportunity.Furthermore,Londons excellent cycling networks let people travel in a healthy and eco-friendly way.ResultsWe ranked the boroughs by their respective Public Transport Accessibility Level(PTAL)score.This takes into account walkin

35、g time to public transport stops,as well as the number and frequency of services.The PTAL score ranges from 1 to 6b,where 1 is very poor access and 6b is excellent.Each boroughs PTAL score was ordered according to the table opposite.However,for simplicity we have shown the score as the equivalent Tr

36、ansport for London rating.In first place came Westminster,which continues to highlight its ability to draw thousands of workers into its offices every day.In second place came Islington,and third place Camden.Only two boroughs currently have an excellent PTAL rating,albeit some will score higher in

39、adults with access to wildlife habitats and species.This increases sustainability,clean air,and promotes the mental health and wellbeing of Londoners making the city a better place to live.ResultsTo assess biodiversity in London,we ranked the boroughs by the total number of trees across 23 different

42、of green space for people to walk,run,or cycle in.To commemorate this open space,in 2019 the National Park City Foundation confirmed London as the worlds first National Park City.With many people now working from home a few days per week,the demand for open space is only increasing.ResultsTo determi

43、ne the accessibility to green space,we took the average of the accessibility*to both active and passive green spaces.Active green spaces are green areas where physical activity can be undertaken such as public parks and gardens,whereas passive green spaces are areas within a 900metre area from the g
