3、are responding.No longer just the preserve of the super-rich,who have long preferred exclusivity and isolation to mass tourism,nowadays people of all incomes are seeking ways to vacation away from crowds within their own bubble of friends and family.Even with the roll-out of the Covid vaccine,intern
4、ational travel will remain complicated and costly for many months to come.Traveller testing even for Vaccine VIPs is already becoming the norm.With this in mind,health and wellbeing will remain a top priority for the foreseeable future,and with that comes a desire for experiences that are safe and s
5、ecure.In this report,we explore eight trends that we think most reflect the shifts in traveller needs and demands of today,as well as the innovations taking place across aviation,hospitality and beyond that demonstrate how companies are responding and even anticipating new behaviour and desires.For

29、ted.What do travel companies need to understand about private travel during the pandemic?Hopefully,we are reaching the beginningof the end of this pandemic but,nevertheless,it has offered a magnifying glass to observe future trends resulting from existing problems.First of all,people have realised t
30、hat life is quite fragile,therefore I dont think so.Covid-19 has certainly been an accelerator but it has also been a catalyst,making us realise that we are really craving to live more intense and memorable experiences with our loved ones.What trends within private travel most excite you?The most ex
31、citing thing about private travel is that it offers an intense experience without the background noise of crowds or the necessity to be seen.It is,in many ways,a greater inner journey anda way to truly connect with the richness of the world around you,with your loved ones surrounding you on thejourn
32、ey.I hope that it willalso offer an opportunity for people to both see the places they visit with the ambition to“leave no trace”and truly understand the eco and social system that they are visiting.And,hopefully,give something back.What is This is Beyond and why did you launchit?We are an event com

35、or less exclusivity reached full swing over the last few years with hotels inviting local communities into their lobbies,mixing staff and optimising and amplifying the quality of the experience spentwith loved ones(younger and older generations)is really what matters,rather than falling for the trap
36、pings of luxury and bling.Second,people have realised overtourism is bad for everyone,and we should seek not to be seen but to see the world with different and better eyes.And,finally,that climate change and sustainability will not only be our next fight as humans,but that customers will align thems
37、elves with companies committed to resolving issues,rather than just making profits.Will the vaccine undermine the need for private experiences?The vaccine is,first of all,our passport to freedom and fewer casualties in this world,so I cannot see it being an undermining factor.But if its the question
38、:“Is Covid fear the key driver of private experiences?”Is private travel just for wealthy people?Private travel is for everyone,and the desire for space,sustainability and seclusion is certainly not only sought and enjoyed by wealthy people.But it is true that Do Not Disturb will focus on the latter
39、 segment,as we believe that luxury travel can offer greater income for destinations with less impact on the environment.What have been your best private travel moments over the course of your travellinglife?Going on safari with my wife,kids and parents will always remain the greatest memory for me.W
